Why Work with our Clinic?
Neuroplastic Pain Care, Life Coaching, & Holistic Health
Some pain exists beyond what scans and tests can explain. In many cases, the body holds onto protective patterns that continue long after the original injury or stress has passed—keeping you feeling stuck, tense, or limited even when everything “should” be healed.
Hei Gung Therapy brings together specialized bodywork, life coaching, and holistic health support to help shift these patterns while building awareness of the thoughts, habits, and daily responses that shape healing and change.
Many clients find that the first thing they notice isn’t the pain disappearing—it’s that they simply feel better. Less stressed. More present. More at peace. More at ease in their own body. They begin to have more good days. The harder days don’t hit as hard. And they find themselves able to do more of what they want in their lives. We see this as the first step toward lasting pain relief.
Because this work meets each person where they are, there isn’t a single path or timeline. Some come for a short period and return when they need support again. Others come seasonally or quarterly. Some choose to work more consistently for a time. What matters most is that the process stays aligned with what feels meaningful and useful to you—helping you feel better, live more fully, and have more good days.
Through this work, clients often regain a sense of agency, reconnect with hope where they once felt stuck, and begin to experience meaningful, lasting change—even after other approaches have fallen short.
When this is a regular part of my life, I have more good days. And the bad days aren't so bad.
About Timothy Wang, LMT
Neuroplastic Pain Specialist & Hei Gung Practioner
Timothy’s work centers on Hei Gung Therapy—an approach that brings together specialized bodywork, coaching, and holistic health support to help people shift long-held patterns and experience more ease, clarity, and possibility in their lives. While many come in with pain or a specific challenge, the work itself isn’t limited to any one condition—it also supports people moving through grief, life transitions, or simply wanting to feel better in their day-to-day experience.
In some cases, this includes working with patterns often described as neuroplastic pain, where discomfort persists beyond what scans or tests can explain. But rather than focusing on a label, the emphasis is on how you feel—and what begins to change as you engage with the work.
With more than twenty years devoted to the study and practice of Hei Gung therapy, Timothy works through a combination of hands-on bodywork and coaching to support how people experience their bodies, their work, and their lives.
Timothy has spent his life exploring how the body, mind, and human experience come together. He graduated with honors in Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins, where he conducted laboratory research. He went on to serve as a lead engineer at Boeing before moving into business and entrepreneurship.
Along the way, he also spent years performing as an actor and singer—on and off-Broadway in New York City and later in Seattle—deepening his understanding of presence, expression, and the lived experience of being in a body.
During the economic downturn, he built a successful real estate career in New York City, navigating one of the most challenging markets in recent history. He has also worked as a business consultant, helping companies achieve significant growth.
Through all of these paths, he found his own long-term practice in Hei Gung therapy—something he has devoted himself to daily for over twenty years. It is through this work that he developed the clarity, resilience, and perspective he now brings to those he works with.
Today, Timothy works with people at many stages—from those navigating long-standing challenges to those who are already doing well but want more from their lives. The work meets you where you are, and supports where you want to go—often in ways that are felt before they are fully understood.
Tim was so professional and careful to my past injuries while making sure he delivered comfort and relief to my pain. He used techniques I've yet to have in massage and really paid close attention to my painful areas. I would highly recommend giving him a shot as he was attentive and doesn't give fake information or answers. I'll be seeing him on the regular!
Tim Wang permanently changed my life...I'm a 6-year US Army NG veteran, ex-journeyman lineman & current elevator mechanic in the agriculture industry. Tim's multi-disciplinary approach...allows him a wiser, more "zoomed-out" method of attack that outshines the rest; ESPECIALLY when it comes to...improvements lasting through labor.
Tim is a naturally gifted healer. Within 5 minutes of an appointment my body feels relief. He has a way of getting your muscles talking and helps them find their purpose within your body once more. After every appointment I walk out feeling the best that I have in a long time.
