Why Work with our Clinic?
Neuroplastic Pain Care, Life Coaching, & Holistic Health
Some pain exists beyond what scans and test can explain. In many cases, the nervous system can learn protective patterns that persist beyond the original injury, continuing to produce pain and keep the system in a heightened, protective state long after healing and the initial stress have passed.
Hei Gung Therapy brings together specialized bodywork, life coaching, and holistic health support to help shift deeply held nervous system patterns while increasing awareness of the thoughts, habits, and daily responses that shape healing and change.

Through this work, many clients begin to regain a sense of agency, reconnect with hope where they once felt stuck, and feel more at ease in their own bodies—often after other approaches have fallen short.
When this is a regular part of my life, I have more good days. And the bad days aren't so bad.
About Timothy Wang, LMT
Neuroplastic Pain Specialist & Hei Gung Practioner
Timothy’s work centers on specialized Hei Gung therapy to address neuroplastic pain—persistent pain shaped and reinforced by patterns within the nervous system rather than ongoing tissue damage—while also incorporating a coaching-based approach that helps bring awareness to the thoughts, habits, and daily responses that influence how those patterns are maintained or changed. These conditions often exist in the space where traditional tests offer few clear answers, leaving many people searching for an approach that truly meets what is happening within them.

With more than twenty years devoted to the study and practice of Hei Gung therapy, Timothy works directly with the nervous system through life coaching and hands-on bodywork designed to retrain these patterns. His goal is not simply temporary relief, but a meaningful shift in how the system processes and responds to pain over time.

Timothy has spent his life pursuing a deeper understanding of how the body, mind, and nervous system function as one. He earned a degree in Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering at Johns Hopkins, performed on and off-Broadway in New York City as an actor and singer, and ultimately found his own healing and home in Hei Gung therapy—a practice he has devoted himself to daily for over twenty years. Through this work, he developed the clarity, resilience, and perspective he now brings to those he works with.

Today, Timothy supports people at many stages—from those navigating long-standing chronic pain to those moving through periods of transition or seeking a greater sense of ease and resilience. Through this integrated approach, many clients experience lasting improvements in pain, mobility, and overall well-being, often after years of searching for answers.
Tim was so professional and careful to my past injuries while making sure he delivered comfort and relief to my pain. He used techniques I've yet to have in massage and really paid close attention to my painful areas. I would highly recommend giving him a shot as he was attentive and doesn't give fake information or answers. I'll be seeing him on the regular!
Tim Wang permanently changed my life...I'm a 6-year US Army NG veteran, ex-journeyman lineman & current elevator mechanic in the agriculture industry. Tim's multi-disciplinary approach...allows him a wiser, more "zoomed-out" method of attack that outshines the rest; ESPECIALLY when it comes to...improvements lasting through labor.
Tim is a naturally gifted healer. Within 5 minutes of an appointment my body feels relief. He has a way of getting your muscles talking and helps them find their purpose within your body once more. After every appointment I walk out feeling the best that I have in a long time.
