Meet the Team
Tim Wang, LMT
Hei Gung Practitioner at Better Better
Welcome — I’m Timothy Wang. I help people move more freely, feel better in their bodies, and return to the activities that matter most in their lives.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your body is holding you back. Pain and physical limitations affect far more than the body alone—they can interfere with your ability to perform at work, stay present with your family, or simply live with the ease and freedom you deserve.
My work centers on the use of specialized Hei Gung therapy to address neuroplastic pain—persistent pain generated and reinforced by patterns within the nervous system rather than ongoing tissue damage. These conditions often exist in the space where traditional tests provide few clear answers, leaving many people searching for solutions that truly address what is happening in their bodies.
With more than twenty years devoted to the study and practice of Hei Gung therapy, I work directly with the nervous system through precise acupressure-based bodywork designed to help retrain these pain patterns. The goal is not simply temporary relief, but meaningful change in how the body processes and responds to pain.
My background includes graduating with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in the science of complex biological systems. Over time, my path expanded beyond conventional models of health toward approaches that recognize the deep connection between the brain, nervous system, and body.
Today, I work with people at many stages of life—from those navigating long-standing chronic pain to those seeking to restore ease and resilience in their bodies. Through Hei Gung therapy, many clients experience lasting improvements in pain, mobility, and overall well-being, even after years without relief.

Anjel Pedroza, LMT
Massage Practitioner at Better Better
Hello! I’m Anjel Pedroza, a massage therapist, mom of two, bilingual, and proud Walla Walla Valley native. I now call Touchet home, and as part of a farming family, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the people and communities of the Valley.
I’ve been practicing massage therapy for more than three years and have completed approximately 160 hours of training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. My approach is warm, attentive, and individualized. I work with clients seeking therapeutic massage, stress relief, nervous system relaxation, prenatal support, head-and-neck work, abdominal bodywork, facial massage, and lymphatic care. I also incorporate cupping and aromatherapy when appropriate, along with techniques ranging from gentle Swedish massage to deeper, focused pressure.
I’m continuing my education in Hei Gung Therapy, deepening my understanding of movement, breath, body awareness, and how we carry tension.
I believe our bodies carry so much of what we experience—stress, physical work, motherhood, change, and everything in between. My hope is that each session gives you space to pause, reconnect, and leave feeling a little lighter, more grounded, and renewed.
I’m grateful to be part of this community and look forward to working with you.

Jessica Walling
Patient education, Marketing and Community care
Hello! I am Jessica, I'm a Walla Walla native, a mom, and someone who has always had a deep love for this valley and the people who call it home. I’m grateful to be raising my family here in a multigenerational household, which has given me a unique perspective on how our experiences, relationships, and different stages of life can shape the way we think about health and healing.
My background in education and working with children taught me the importance of leading with empathy, listening first, and meeting people where they are. Those experiences continue to shape the way I connect with others today.
At Better Better, I’m here to help create connections — whether that means helping patients better understand their care, sharing what we’re doing in our community, or simply being a welcoming person you can turn to when you’re looking for support.
I believe that wanting change is often the first step toward something deeper. My hope is to support people as they discover what feeling better and living better can look like for them — and ultimately, help them live more fully into their purpose.
I’m so happy to be part of the Better Better team, and even more excited to connect with the people and families in our community.

Angela Wang
Front Office Coordinator & Insurance Partnerships
Hey there! I’m Angela Wang, and I’m part of the team here at Better Better.
With a background in biomedical engineering and more than 10 years in partnerships and sales engineering, including as a VP of Partnerships and Sales Engineering, I’ve built my career around advocating for clients, building meaningful partnerships, and helping bring care and solutions that matter to the people who need them.
Today, I’m bringing that experience to Better Better and advocating for Hei Gung therapy to be recognized as an important part of healthcare and, ultimately, covered by insurance.
I’ve seen firsthand the impact this work can have — from reduced reliance on walkers, wheelchairs, pain medication, and opioids to improved ability to work and remain independent. I’ve also seen meaningful reductions in chronic pain and medical anxiety, as well as people avoiding or delaying surgery.
I’m passionate about helping healthcare organizations and insurers understand these outcomes, supporting better research, and building the partnerships needed to make care that matters more accessible.
To me, that’s what Better Better is about: advocating for people, celebrating progress, and helping make meaningful care accessible to more people.
